The Hybrid MSW program is the ideal way to gain the knowledge and skills needed to serve underrepresented populations. This MSW pathway is expressly designed for working social workers and social service professionals and offers a balance of online and on-campus courses, allowing you to complete an career-advancing degree program that provides you with the flexibility you need.

The Best of On Campus and Online: The Hybrid MSW Format

Our hybrid degree provides flexible online learning without sacrificing beneficial in-person experiences.

Start your MSW online: The first six courses in the degree are entirely online and are part of our generalist course of study.
Then move to hybrid: For the remaining courses, students take a combination of online MSW coursework and in-person courses at our New York City campus.

LMSW and LCSW Accreditation

The Hybrid MSW curriculum prepares students for the ASWB masters level examination. After graduating and successfully passing this exam, you’re qualified to obtain your LMSW credential. This MSW program also satisfies the education requirements for the LCSW credential.
